Business Development Representative


InfoReady produces SaaS software used by over 150 colleges and universities across the United States and around the world. Institutions use our software for deciding critical things: Deciding which professors get grant funding, deciding which students get fellowships, and all sorts of competitions. We are a fast-growing Inc. 500 company.

This individual will act as a critical part of a national sales team by reaching out to colleges and universities to chat with them about ways that they can use our software. The ideal candidate will cultivate relationships with prospective clients to drive new business. This individual will schedule meetings with prospects to understand their needs. They will also work closely with sales and marketing teams to uncover new leads.

Responsibilities of the Business Development Representative

  • Evangelize InfoReady and technology available to institutions of higher education

  • Conduct meaningful conversations with researched prospects

  • Generate appointments by means of proactive outbound prospecting

  • Work directly with sales and marketing to discover opportunities from leads


Qualifications of the Business Development Representative

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

  • 1-2 years of full-time sales experience (Software sales is a plus) or 1-2 years of full-time research administration experience

  • We will consider recent college grads with strong sales internship experience

  • Experience selling to colleges, universities, or medical centers is a plus.

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Motivation, drive and a self-starting attitude

  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast paced, fluid environment
