InfoReady Makes Inc. 5000... Again!

ANN ARBOR, MI -  This week, Inc. magazine revealed its prestigious annual Inc 5000 list, ranking the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. For the third year in a row, Ann Arbor-based higher education software company InfoReady made the list.

 

"We’re not successful if our campus partners are not successful,” says Bhushan Kulkarni, InfoReady’s CEO. “This achievement is a testament to our ability to listen to our partners, understand their needs, and develop solutions to alleviate their pain points. Our goal is to help our partners reduce administrative burdens so they can spend more time focused on advancing their missions.”

 

Since 2010, InfoReady has partnered with colleges and universities to improve their essential processes. Beginning with success in research administration, today InfoReady enjoys partnerships with nearly half of all large US research universities. With increased competition in a growing landscape, InfoReady is helping its partners accelerate the inflow of research funding. Today, InfoReady is a trusted name in higher education, serving over 150 campuses, both large and small, in the US and abroad.

 

About the factors that have contributed to InfoReady’s growth, Kulkarni says, “We spend a lot of time on campuses engaging stakeholders to develop solutions that really work. It can be hard for campuses to implement new technologies, so we focus on making our solutions easy to configure, implement, and scale across campus. The time it should take to begin implementation is weeks, not months.”

 

Beginning with its first partnership with the University of Michigan, InfoReady learned how a focus on simple implementation and ease of use can stir organic adoption by other departments on campuses beyond research. Driven by their own success in research, InfoReady’s campus partners have become advocates for the adoption of InfoReady’s technologies across campuses. Today, InfoReady’s footprint spans scholarships, fellowships, awards, K-12 outreach, student success, and beyond. “We delight in hearing about our partners’ successes,” says Kulkarni.

 

Despite their successes, InfoReady frequently hears from its partners about the challenges in raising awareness of and driving engagement in their programs. As Kulkarni remarks, “Colleges and universities are complex organizations. It is not always easy for campus or community stakeholders to find what they are looking for at an institution. Engagement can’t be left to hoping that individuals see the right flyer, find the right website, sign up for the right email lists, follow the right social media channels, etc. We seek to help our partners eliminate serendipity from the equation. We’ve helped our partners free up time to develop new and better programs; now we want to help them scale their programs across campus.” InfoReady seeks to help its partners raise awareness and engagement and grow its partnerships worldwide.
